Today the mallorcan SUP association organized a surf festival on the beach of Puerto Pollenca. It was a fun event of the local SUP community with lots of friends and family on the water. I was out with my SPL waterhousing enjoying the action from down below.

Today I mounted my gopro housing on the nose of my 9.0 longboard. It was an easy session with just two other guys out in Son Serra. Nice gadget and there is no need for expensive models :-)
Saturday 14.05.2011 took place the first Thomas Cook Triathlon on Mallorca. It was a really successful event with nearly 2000 participants. Weather conditions were perfect, although a bit too warm for some people. I was shooting for Finisherpix, a company that is specialized on sports event photography. These people set up a pretty impressive after work flow process, putting online a few thousand photos within two days. Every photo is tagged with the start number of each participant, so that every sportsman interested can get his personal picture by online order. Cool deal! From the 2. to the 9. of April 2011 takes place the sailing world championships in the bay of Palma. The event is part of the ISAF Sailing World Cup and an important qualifier event for London 2o12. Hello to everybody! Last saturday I switched sides! Normally I am taking the wedding photos, but this time it was about me to be in the focus of interest. And of course my wife… After having assisted to a lot of weddings as a photographer during the past years, I finally had the courage to ask for marriage: A really nice and unique moment in my life! So next time I am going to shoot a wedding, I am going to understand my clients way better. Hey, I know what we are talking about ;-)
